Aaron Thrush

Aaron Thrush is a board-certified cardiovascular and pulmonary clinical specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association, with advanced expertise in critical care rehabilitation. At Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he serves as the lead ICU physical therapist and department education specialist, overseeing interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs in acute and intensive care settings.

His research contributions include lead authorship on studies in lung transplantation, cardiac rehabilitation, stroke recovery, and functional outcome measures. He also serves as a Clinical Content Expert and Director of Research & Evidence-Based Practice for the Academy of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy in the U.S.

He holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University and a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Movement Science
