  • Practical Learning: Small-group supervised hands-on scanning and interactive image interpretation quizzes.
  • Course Scope: Focuses on foundational and advanced lung ultrasound principles for acute care, including normal anatomy, artifacts, and the BLUE protocol.
  • Clinical Applications: Trains attendees to diagnose acute respiratory failure, pneumothorax, pleural effusion, pneumonia, and differentiate cardiogenic from non-cardiogenic pulmonary edema.
  • Hands-On Experience: Features unique, supervised bedside scanning on real patients during ward rounds in the ED and Acute Medical Wards, supported by a high trainer-to-candidate ratio and live image interpretation.
