Dr Walid Alhabashy
Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in the UK and founder of Saving Lives Academy. Dr Walid came to the NHS as an international doctor and gained his specialist registration through the CESR route, so he knows the interviews you face from your side of the table. He holds the Arab Board, a Doctorate and European Diplomas in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care.

Frequently asked questions
Is the course live or recorded?
The Job Interview Course is recorded. You can start straight away and watch at your own pace. If you would like live practice with Dr Walid, choose the 1:1 coaching option on Zoom.
How long do I have access?
You have 12 months’ access from the day you enrol, so you can rewatch the lessons before every interview in that year.
Which interviews does it cover?
The basic module covers trust grade, specialty and first NHS posts. The consultant module covers consultant interviews, including governance, leadership, service development and the presentation.
I am not in the UK yet. Is it still useful?
Yes. The course prepares doctors for interviews in the UK and abroad.
What is the difference between the recorded course and 1:1 coaching?
The recorded course teaches the structures and the questions panels ask. 1:1 coaching is four hours of live, personal practice with Dr Walid, focused on your own application and specialty. Personal feedback on a practice video is included free with the recorded course.
How do I book 1:1 coaching?

Will I get feedback on my answers?
Yes. With the recorded course, you record a 3 to 5 minute practice answer and Dr Walid sends you personal feedback, free of charge. 1:1 coaching includes live feedback throughout your four hours.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, you receive a certificate of completion when you finish the course.
