Questions
Frequently asked questions
Which cases start on their own?
Cases 2, 4 and 5 start timing as soon as you open them: Case 2 deteriorates at 30 seconds, Cases 4 and 5 at 40 seconds. Cases 1, 3 and 6 begin when you press Start scenario.
Can I run a case again?
Yes. Press Restart case at the top of any case to reset the patient and the timer.
Do the Quick actions change the patient?
No. They tick off what you would do at the bedside, so you can rehearse your sequence. Use the controls on the console to change the patient.
Are the scans and X-rays real?
Not yet. The imaging views are placeholders; the blood gases and lab values are generated by the simulator.
Is this for patient care?
No. The numbers are a simplified teaching model and are for education only, not for clinical decision making.
