Dr. Nihal Abosaif is a Consultant Acute Physician and Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Birmingham, specializing in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), Focused Acute Medicine Ultrasound (FAMUS), nephrology, and internal medicine.

Holding multiple advanced qualifications, including an MD/PhD in Internal Medicine, an MSc, and an FRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, she combines clinical excellence, education, and research expertise.

With a distinguished career spanning clinical leadership, education, and research, Dr. Abosaif has worked across major NHS trusts, including University Hospital Birmingham, Coventry & Warwickshire, and Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals, serving as Clinical Lead and Educational Lead for Acute Medicine.
