Dr. Nadir Kharma graduated in 2001 with a Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) from The American University of Beirut, Lebanon.

He completed an internal medicine residency and Pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine fellowships in the US and Canada in 2010

He is a Fellow of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and American Board Certified in Internal medicine, Pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine

Dr. Nadir joined the Critical Care Department at Hamad General Hospital in 2017 as a senior consultant in critical care and ECMO.

He is currently the Program Director of the Critical Care fellowship program at Hamad Medical Corporation.

He also serves as the Critical care Clinical lead of the Mechanical ventilation weaning service and the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT Team).
