Dr Denise Battaglini
Dr. Denise Battaglini is a Critical Care Physician and Assistant Professor of Intensive Care at the University of Genoa, Italy. She practices at IRCCS Ospedale Policlinico San Martino in Genoa, where she contributes to both clinical care and academic training within the Department of Surgical Sciences and Integrated Diagnostics.
Dr. Battaglini earned her PhD in Translational Medicine from the University of Barcelona, Spain. She has completed two highly regarded research fellowships: one in pneumonia and respiratory physiotherapy at the University of Barcelona, and another in neurointensive care and pulmonary critical care, with a focus on mechanical ventilation, at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
She holds several prominent leadership and representative roles, including:
