Abdulrahman Al-Fares MBChB, MRCP (UK), ABIM, FRCPC, Dip CCE

Dr. Al-Fares graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School, UK in 2003, and then pursued training in Internal Medicine and Critical Care, where he obtained MRCP UK in 2011, followed by a residency in Internal medicine in McGill 2012, Critical Care at the University of Toronto in 2015 and obtained ABIM and FRCPC in Internal Medicine and Critical care in 2016 and 2017, respectively. He then pursued further training in Extracorporeal Life Support and Critical Care Echocardiography at the University of Toronto and obtain certification from the National Board of Echocardiography. He is currently the Chair of the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care Medicine and Pain Medicine and the Director of Kuwait Extracorporeal Life Support Program, Al-Amiri Hospital, Ministry of Health, Kuwait. He is also the Program Director of Adult Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program, Kuwait Institute of Medical Specialization.
